We have now completed making some improvements in the ‘My Account’ area of our website, the link of which can be found in the top right hand corner of our home page. Just log in using your email address and password you created when booking your trip to be able to use the following new areas:
Account Changes – Firstly, we would kindly ask you to log in and check your ‘Personal Details’, especially your date of birth and passport details to make sure they are correct and make any necessary changes if needed.
Contacting other travellers on your trip – If you wish to contact other travellers on your trip, this facility is now available, in the ‘Personal Details’ section of your account. Just tick the box stating that you would like to share your email address with other travellers on your trip, which can be found towards the bottom of your personal details page, once this is done go to the ‘Contact Other Travellers’ tab on the left hand side navigation bar and you will be able to view other travellers email addresses who have given their permission to be contacted.
Adding an ‘Add On’ to your existing trip – You can now book an ‘Add On’ such as Gorilla Trekking or Spanish School for example to your existing booking through your account. If you decide at a later date that you want to do an ‘Add On’ then click ‘View’ on your booking you wish to add an ‘Add On’ to. At the bottom of the summary page it will allow you to book & pay for your ‘Add On’. This can be done up to 20 days before your trip departs. For bookings after this cut off period please contact us direct to check availability.
If you booked an ‘Add On’ previous to this email, either at the time of booking your trip or if you organised it by contacting us direct, then it will not appear in your account, but rest assured this booking has already been made for you.
Book Pre-Trip Accommodation and Airport Transfers – Lead travellers can now make these reservations through your account up to six weeks before your trip departs. If your trip departs in less than six weeks, please contact us and we will make your booking direct. Just go to ‘View My Booking’ and towards the bottom of the summary page select’ Book Pre-Trip Accommodation and Airport Transfers’ and select your requirements. If you do not require any of the following, please just select not required, so we can be informed that you are going to make your own arrangements. If you have booked accommodation previously by contacting us here at Oasis Overland, then be aware it will not appear in your account, but again, rest assured it has been reserved for you. If you wish to put your previous accommodation/transfer booking request in your account, then please feel free to do so.
