No commentsOur logistics manager, Mark, spent his Christmas and New Year in search of Mountain Gorillas in Rwanda (oh and he apparently completed campsite risk assessments and checked over our trucks!)
January 30, 2012 No commentsOur wonderful friends at the The Backpackers hostel that we stay at in Cape Town during our trips have sent us a wonderful gift this year. Instead of sending us a Christmas card as a show of their appreciation, they have donated a tree on our behalf to TREES FOR TOURISM.
December 22, 2011 No commentsWe are so excited about our new Morocco trips going live on our website. Our new trips will start from Easter 2012 and you will have the option of an 8, 11 or 15 day trip.
November 16, 2011 No commentsYou realise at the end of each trip just why Overlanding is so special. No commentsAll of us at Oasis would like to congratulate the recently departed President Banda and the newly elected President Sata. Not only have the Zambians elected a new president (the 5th since independence over 40 years ago) but also the opposition political party.

No commentsPeople make all the difference! For us crew, we are lucky, we get to go to amazing places & see amazing things every single day, the one thing that makes each trip different is the people we spend our time with.
August 26, 2011 No comments… from Nancy & Chris – When youre on a Trans Africa trip, one of your biggest hurdles is obtaining visas. And when you find yourself at the mercy of groups like the Ethiopian embassy in the UK and DHL Tanzania, you may find yourself trying to fill in a few extra days in places you wouldnt normally linger
August 22, 2011 No commentsThis is an update from Claire our tour leader on the Nile Trans in Africa- The quaint Namibian town of Swakopmund, renowned for its adrenaline activities, has to be one of the crews favourite places for letting their hair down. For me its the sky diving, for Steve its the quad biking
August 16, 2011 No commentsWe are in Kampala, the capital of Uganda, today after a fairly easy crossing from Kenya yesterday. The border was pretty crazy, with a 6km queue of trucks waiting to clear customs. We asked one driver near the front how long he had been there and he cheerily replied only 3 days!
