Group size is limited to 18 people per Tour Leader in order to maximise your enjoyment at local sites.

Overland Adventures:

Trips on our own purpose built overlanding vehicles with a crew of two from 19 days to 15 weeks in Africa, Middle East & South America.
Our vehicles carry up to 24 travellers. You will be expected to have an active involvement in the day to day running of the trip.

Ultimate Expeditions:

Expeditions from 8 to 38 weeks. A tougher, more extreme style of our Overland Adventure trips, but still using our purpose built vehicles with a crew of two and carrying up to 24 travellers, you must expect an even more active day to day involvement in the running of the trip.

Personally run & owned - The directors Chris & Steve have been personally running & managing Oasis from our HQ in Somerset for over 13 years now and are one of the few UK based overland companies to maintain their own UK workshop. Read more about us.

Personal Service - We are small enough to offer a personalised service to those who travel with us, before & after you have booked. You can pick up the phone to us during office hours & talk to us rather than an automated voice.

We will be running your trip! - On our Overland Adventure and Ultimate Expedition truck trips have confidence in knowing that we own and operate all of our own expedition vehicles, employ and train our own crew and will be the actual company running the trip. On our Regional Explorer local transport trips we use a combination of our own Tour Leaders and local operators whom we have worked closely with over many years.

Fully bonded for your financial protection -We are fully ATOL and AITO bonded for your financial protection. This means that if you book direct with Oasis you will have your money fully protected, and will be refunded in the unlikely event of our insolvency.

Back-up & support - We have 24hr office backup & operational support as well as having full liability insurance and crisis management plans in place in case of a major incident.

Experienced team - Our crew have gained considerable knowledge and experience of travelling even before they join us. Nearly all our crew joined Oasis after having travelled with us and our HQ team have all either worked on the road or travelled on trips with us. They all have a passion and an enthusiasm for their work and for the countries and places we visit.

Crew - Except in exceptional circumstances, on our Overland Adventures & Ultimate Expedition trips, all vehicles have a crew of two (Driver and Tour Leader). Our Regional Explorer trips are run with one Tour Leader.

Value for Money - By remaining small and compact we keep our UK overheads to a minimum. We don't spend money on expensive high street offices or have a large administrative or marketing team. All this contributes to considerable cost savings which are passed on to you, but in no way do they detract from the quality of your travelling experience with Oasis.

Peace of mind & less hassle - The great advantage about our trips is that you don't have the worries and hassles that can occur when trying to organise a trip alone. Our trips will allow you to spend your precious time getting out there and immersing yourself in the different cultures and regions which we pass through and give you more time to make friends and share experiences along the way. Plus there's the added bonus of security and peace of mind that travelling as part of a group brings.

Reliable vehicles -We have an excellent and enviable vehicle back-up and safety record. Regular maintenance is carried out by all our drivers during every trip who have received training at our workshop in the UK. Our vehicles are built mainly in the UK, with practicality and comfort in mind, and you can rest assured that we own and operate all of our own expedition vehicles. Should a mechanical problem occur we carry an extensive range of spare parts on board.
