Letter of Invitiation for Uzbekistan Visa

You must obtain your visa for Uzbekistan before arriving at the border, and most travellers prefer to have it in their passport before they start their trip with us. Some travellers require a Letter of Invitation (LOI) before applying, while some others choose to get one. A number of different agencies will offer this service, and you are welcome to use whichever you like for your trip with us. Oasis Overland can submit an application on your behalf at a cost of £35 per person.

Do I need a Letter of Invitation?

You must have an LOI if you are planning getting your Uzbekistan visa at an embassy or consulate outside of your home country. Please note that not all countries have an Uzbekistan Embassy (there is not one in Australia, New Zealand or the Netherlands).

Do I want a Letter of Invitation?

You may choose to get an Uzbekistan Letter of Invitation. Applying with an LOI usually means your visa is processed quicker (often on the same day) and also that you have a much higher chance of having your visa granted.

If you choose to apply for your LOI through Oasis Overland, we will send you the relevant forms and documentation within the appropriate timeframe for your trip. Please note we cannot apply for these any more than three months before the proposed date of entry into Uzbekistan on your trip.
