Oasis traveller raises money for projects visited on her trip

Congratulations to Melissa Hansom on her recent 3-Peak Challenge! On Friday 14th August, Melissa, along with three friends, completed The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, starting and ending at Horton-in Ribblesdale in the Yorkshire Dales. The route incorporates the three highest peaks in Yorkshire – Pen-y-ghent (691m), Whernside (728m), and Ingleborough (723m) with the total distance walked being around 25 miles. Melissa and friends completed the challenge in 12 hours in rain, wind and mist!

Melissa was sponsored for her efforts and is raising money for 4 projects Oasis suppport along her forthcoming Cairo to Cape Town trip-The Sudanese Community Development Project in Cairo, Sunshine International in Luxor, Soft Power in Uganda and the Hupenyu Hutsva Children’s Home in Zimbabwe.
