Egypt Tours

See the Pyramids of Giza on Oasis Overland Egypt EncompassedHere’s the latest on our Regional Explorers and Overland Adventures to Egypt.

We are resuming all Regional Explorer tours to Egypt from the beginning of April.  No changes are being made to multi-country Overland Adventures that travel through Egypt and these are scheduled to depart as usual throughout February and March.

We have two departures of our 37 day Oasis Caravan from Cairo to Istanbul and our 21 day Oasis Nomad from Cairo to Damascus in March.  They will depart from Cairo as scheduled on 7th and 21st March and will follow the usual itinerary to Luxor, Aswan and Dahab.  Our itineraries are flexible though and changes can be made if necessary.  The 21st March Oasis Caravan will arrive in Gallipoli for Anzac Day and will attend the Dawn Service.

One of our groups is currently travelling through Tunisia on the 58 day Tunis to Istanbul overland trip.  Our crew, Graham and Colin, report that the trip is going well and the group are enjoying Tunisia.  There are few other tourists but they are not encountering any problems and have not had to alter their itinerary.

Chris & Jackie from Oasis and their two boys Ethan and Seth will be going to Egypt as planned at the beginning of April.  This could be a fantastic time for travellers to visit the region, after such dramatic events and during an historical change for both countries.  Our crew on the ground tell us that there are few tourists around so not only is it great for those who would like to visit Egypt sites when it’s quieter but local operators whose livelihood depend on tourism will benefit too.
