Regional Explorers

Small group adventures in Pakistan, Peru, Bolivia, South East Asia, Europe, Morocco, Egypt and Jordan, using local transport or private vehicles.  You will stay in locally owned hostels and hotels allowing interaction with local communities, as well as the occasional night camping (e.g. Inca Trail).  No cooking involved here, meals are usually at local hotels, restaurants or cafes.  Group size is limited to 18 people per tour leader.

Overland Adventures

Overland trips in Africa, Central Asia and South America on our own purpose built overlanding vehicles.  Africa trips are mostly camping and in South America and Central Asia we camp around half the time with the rest being in hostels or simple hotels.  When camping we stay at campsites the majority of the time and wild camp on occasion.  Overland Adventures are run on a full participation basis so have fun helping to cook for the group and taking an active involvement in the day to day running of the trip.  Expect to sometimes get dusty and dishevelled and not to be able to have hot showers every night.  Groups of up to 24 people are led by two Oasis crew.

Ultimate Overland Expeditions

The BIG ones!  Travel off the beaten track on ultimate overland expeditions of up to 40 weeks through Africa, Central Asia and South America.  A tougher, more extreme style of our Overland Adventure trips but still using our purpose built vehicles, with one or more Oasis crew and carrying up to 24 travellers.  You must expect an even more active day to day involvement in the running of the trip and to wild camp more regularly where there are no facilities.  You must expect a higher degree of hardship and to be away from civilization for days at a time.  Expeditions are generally long in duration and at times you will be travelling and camping in remote areas and extremes of weather.  Step outside your comfort zone to travel somewhere different.

Family Adventures

Family trips to Peru, Morocco and Africa.  Africa trips are on our purpose built overland expedition vehicles and are ultimately a camping adventure.  In other areas we use local transport or private vehicles and mainly stay in small, locally owned hotels and lodges with en-suite facilities.  See individual trips for minimum ages .  These trips have been designed to have shorter drive times and lots of opportunity to explore.

Mini Adventures

Short on duration but big on experience!  Trips range from 3 days in the Maasai Mara to an 8 day Galapagos cruise and can be booked as a trip on their own or as an Add On to your main trip.  We use local operators who we have worked with for many years and who give an excellent service using top quality guides.  Kilimanjaro treks, Spanish School in South America and Amazon Rainforest trips are just a few of our Mini Adventures on offer.

Volunteer

Projects take place in East and Southern Africa and Ecuador in South America.  A variety of projects include wildlife and conservation, health and community and children and education.  A day’s work can range from preparing meals or administrative tasks to observing Great White Sharks, assisting children with creative activities, teaching sports or tracking wild animals.  Projects are run at a grass roots level to ensure benefits are kept within local communities.  You need a minimum of 2 weeks to take part in volunteering and if you can take longer, the more you and the project gains from of it.  You can book a Volunteer Project as a standalone trip or add it to your overland trip.
