UPDATED CAPE TOWN TO CAIRO ROUTE WITH OASIS OVERLAND

DESTINATIONS YOU WILL SEE ON OUR CENTRAL ASIA OVERLAND TRIPS
Central Asia, a land where ancient Silk Road cities meet breathtaking mountain landscapes, is rapidly emerging as a must-visit destination for the intrepid traveller. This region, encompassing the '5 Stans' of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, offers a unique blend of historical grandeur, nomadic traditions, and stunning natural beauty. Our trips through the region start in either Istanbul in April heading East through Turkey, the Caucasus countries of Georgia and Armenia, Iran or Azerbaijan and on through the Stans to Bishkek, or returning in the other direction from Bishkek starting in August. Our Eastbound trip also continues into China to Beijing, and all the way south to Singapore (though with local transport, rather than with the truck).

Oasis Annual Trip for Children from a Harare Children’s Home
This Valentine’s Day our Africa Operations Team and some of our crew were involved in one of our favourite days of the year! For the last 20 years or so, we have been working with a Harare Children’s Home, supporting them with food, educational supplies, gardening equipment and even a borehole. Our favourite form of support however is an event our crew have affectionately named ‘Kids Week.’
